Stéphane Beaulne
Founder & CEO, Komino
Born in Ottawa to a Haitian mother and a Franco-Ontarian father, Stéphane lived in many countries (Guinea, Romania, Senegal, and Canada), giving him a multicultural upbringing and teaching him the importance of community. During his studies at HEC Montréal, he experienced how difficult it was to invest in a community initiative or social movement and take group action to improve his local community.
He decided to research the phenomenon during his studies and propose a solution. Komino was born. Since then, Komino has pivoted toward targeting nonprofit organizations first, as they’re the pillars of our communities. The vision of Komino? Make taking action easier and empower our communities so that we can thrive toward a more equitable world.
