The South Shore Youth Organization is a Black-led non-profit organization whose mission is to provide resources to BIPOC youth and families in Montreal's South Shore through:
ACADEMICS: Providing academic services such as tutoring, homework and exam help, financial literacy, etc.
COMMUNITY: Inspiring our youth to be of service to their communities and neighbours and foster lifelong leadership via food drives, gift drives, etc.
MENTAL HEALTH: Offering tools and workshops to ensure and improve the physical, mental and emotional health of our youth and their families.
SPORT: Provide access to sports for all children between the ages of 5 and 17 and give them a safe place to get physically active, make connections with their peers and learn valuable skills such as working as collaboration, discipline, problem solving and much more.
