CARE is a newly emerging business in the global supply chain designed to reduce or eliminate conflict trap investment from local people and their communities. CARE integrates economic, cultural, environmental, and social considerations in all its decision-making and activities. It is heading the advancement of women’s leadership in conflict transformation to peacebuilding capacity through the development of community mining, farming, and craft enterprises. Representing over 10,000 women members from across the globe, CARE’s business centers on supporting competitive, responsible, and sustainable mineral, agricultural, and natural resources global supply-chain trade that focuses on exchanges between Africa and Canada.
CARE women are from Canada, the Caribbean, and Sierra Leone who came to the global supply chain business negotiations’ table together to be game changers in the global supply chain business to establish, develop, and expand upon productive impacts on the lives of vulnerable and at-risk people in the world.
Our business of importing and exporting materials between Canada and Sierra Leone; such as gold, precious metals, diamonds, minerals, and clothing for computers, technology hardware, educational materials, agricultural equipment and health care equipment, Tourism local ingredients commonwealth style cuisine; women-led survivals, employee own, naturally beautiful and supplies, is carried out by leading women working as consulting directors working with professionals in mining, and a team of volunteer-students. Our consultants are business strategists, grant writers, communications experts, entrepreneurs, organizational development professionals, diversity, equity and inclusion specialists, social enterprise developers, fundraisers, and business coaches who have worked in various sectors at local, national, and international levels, especially in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
