Born and raised in the vibrant capital city of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, Gezahegn’s journey has been one of resilience and unwavering commitment to free speech and human rights. After escaping the oppressive Ethiopian regime in 2015, Gezahegn and his wife, Sosina Ashenfi Regassa, established this ground-breaking digital magazine in 2017 to amplify voices, reconnect communities, and shed light on untold stories from Ethiopia and the East African diaspora.
