Gelila Mast
Regional Manager
Black Community Business Development (Western Canada) One TD
TD Bank Group
My banking career began over twenty years ago, when I started as a teller while studying at university. Since then, I have had the privilege of enjoying roles such as Account Manager for Small Business, various advisor roles, and most recently, Branch Manager in the Calgary Market. These roles have enabled me to gain extensive banking knowledge and build meaningful relationships. As Regional Manager for Black Community Business Development (Western Canada), my primary role is to act as a trusted liaison between TD and the Black Community. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled colleagues from multiple lines of business in Wealth Management, Business Banking, and Personal Banking. My enthusiasm for relationship building and aptitude for advanced financial strategies have been the foundations of my success over the past two decades in banking. I have been awarded four national recognitions during my career, and I continually strive for excellence in all that I do. I am also a board member of the Canadian Association for Urban Financial Professionals and work closely with various non-profit organizations across the Prairies and Pacific region. I am passionate about Financial Literacy and mentoring youth in the Black Community. In my spare time, I enjoy going for walks, travelling, and watching Hallmark movies.
